Reading the mandate of the Minister of Social Affairs, Chancellor of the University of Palangka Raya, Prof. Dr. Ir. Salampak, said that the commemoration of Heroes’ Day should be used as a momentum to strengthen national unity and respect for one another. Filling independence by becoming a Hero starting from yourself, family, the environment and so on. Make the spirit and values ​​of Heroism an inspiration in every step of our life and life together.
The series of Hero’s Day Commemoration Ceremonies was continued by cutting the tumpeng in the context of the 59th Anniversary of the University of Palangka Raya. In 2022, the 59th Anniversary takes the theme “Synergy towards Excellence & Character UPR”. In his remarks, the Chancellor of the University of Palangka Raya said that this theme was chosen as one of UPR’s commitments towards Public Service Agency Higher Education (PTN-BLU) which always adheres to efforts to develop superior human resources without forgetting our cultural character as Indonesian people. “This is in accordance with the vision that I have always aspired to create superior tertiary institutions in preparing strong, innovative and creative human resources based on the cultural values ​​of the Indonesian nation”
