The Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Palangka Raya, was established concurrently with the establishment of the University of Palangka Raya, through a Decree (SK) of the Minister of Higher Education and Education (PTIP), number: 141 dated 10 November 1963. The first lectures at the Faculty of Economics and Business began in March 1964 led by Mr. H. Timang, assisted by 8 (eight) lecturers and supported by secretarial staff led by Mr. H.F. Sahay.
